Easter Sunday Saluboing St. Nicholas de Tolentino Parish

For the first time in our Parish, the Easter Sunday Dawn "Salubong" was held in front of our Parish Church, St. Nicholas de Tolentino Parish, Castillejos, Zambales.

In the past years, the Easter "Salubong' were normally held at Brgy. San Roque, with the Children Dressed as Angels are on top of a platform specifically made for this event.

For this year however, our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Dexter Fabie had decided to hold the said event in front of the Church.

For a change and to add some excitement and to make it more realistic, the selected lucky Angel will now be removing the Blessed Virgin Mary's Vail sitting on chair that hangs over the head of the image a few feet from the stage that was specially constructed last year, that is beig used as a platform specifically during Lenten Season.

Guess who was selected to the this honor?

Yeps, it was my son who was really delighted and very happy for this since at a very early age he has already developed a great devotion and love to our Blessed Mother.
